Brayering for Friday

It sure does feel like Spring here in South Dakota, and it is SWEET! The Sisters in Stamping (http://sistersinstamping.blogspot.com/) are playing with their brayers this week for the Fabulous Friday post. Here is my card--

I had forgotten how much FUN this technique was! Below is a picture of the card close up, I put little pearls on the bottom 1/2 and it looks very pretty. Also you can see how the glossy white cardstock picked up the ink--

To do this Frosted Glass technique I used the BigShot folder Finial Press. I ran through the BigShot folder using a medium window sheet. Use the brayer with Classic ink to cover the depressed side of the sheet. Lay the glossy white cardstock down onto the window sheet and "print" it. Here is a picture--

The embossed parts of the window sheet leave white space on the cardstock. Very easy and a lot of fun.

Next week we are all using Shimmer Paint for the Fabulous Friday post, hope you can come back and check it out....

Until then, thank-you for stopping by and happy stamping!

Embossing for a Fun Friday

This week the Sisters in Stamping (http://sistersinstamping.blogspot.com/) are making projects using heat embossing techniques. Here is my project--

It's hard to see my heat embossing in the photo, I stamped with So Saffron craft ink and then used Iridescent Ice to emboss the "lemon" slices on my card. This card was made with one of the Sale-a-Bration stamp sets called Tart and Tangy. Speaking of Sale-a-Bration (you knew that was coming) there are only 20 days left....where does the time go? Contact me today for your copy of a Sale-a-Bration catalog and you can get in on the biggest Sale of the year.

Thank-you for stopping by today,

Fabulous Friday is for 2 Stepping

This week at the Sisters (http://sistersinstamping.blogspot.com) we are spotlighting 2-step stamp sets. Here is my card for this week--

I used one of my most favorite stamp sets Flower Fancy and a pastel technique that I taught last year at one of our Janesville Quarterly Meetings. Turned out really nice. We have taken turns and picked out different techniques for the month of March. Next week's post looks very interesting, make sure you stop back by!

Happy Stamping, Karla c(:
