Big Hello to you on this pretty Fall day! This week's theme on the Sister's in Stamping blog is "Use up Those Scraps." Here is my card--

I've been trying to sort through my Designer Series Paper and I ran into a bag of strips that I cut a very long time ago for Christmas Ornaments (I think?). Anyway as soon as I saw them I thought about this weeks post!

Designer Series Paper Show

Welcome! This week at the Sisters in Stamping is Designer Series Paper Sunday Fun Day. Here is my card--

I used the Beautiful Shapes Dies (#158046, $29.00) to cut my 3 hexagons out of Sale-A-Bration Designer Series Paper Dainty Flowers (free with purchase of $50 merchandise). The thank-you greeting is from the matching stamp set called Hello Beautiful (#158041, $18.00). The 4 inch piece of Metallic Mesh ribbon is tied with a piece of Linen Thread and attached with a glue dot on the back of the greeting.

CASE'ing the NEW 2022-23 Idea Book & Catalog

The Sisters in Stamping are CASE'ing this week! Here is my card--

I really enjoy CASE'ing (Copy And Stamp Everything). With the arrival of every Catalog I make sure to go through it trying to spot card samples that I can tweak to make my own. Take my card today for example, I like the simplicity of it and I changed it up a bit using a different color. Here is a picture of it in the Idea Book & Catalog (pg.76):

Designer Series Paper Birthday

Welcome to a Sisters in Stamping Sunday Fun Day! This week's theme is Designer Series Paper, here is my card--

I used the Designer Series Paper called Perfectly Penciled (pg.133, #159244, $12.00). There are 12 double sided sheets of 12x12 DSP. The piece is cut to 3 3/4x 5, I cut 2" into the length and flipped it to the other side, colored one of the flowers with the Fresh Freesia and Soft Succulent Stampin' Blend Markers.

Thank-you for coming back and make sure to go check what the other Sisters are showing off today!

Happy Stamping, Karla 😊

Hello Friend

Hello Friend and welcome to another Sunday Fun Day! The Sisters in Stamping are playing around with scraps of Designer Series Paper. Here is my card for today--

I used Friendly Hello (#159990) a Sale-A-Bration bundle to make my card today. Really LOVE this color combination Pool Party, Whisper White and Basic Black.

I'd like to share with you the way I store my DSP. When I get a new pack of DSP I make slit along the top of the plastic wrap. This creates a bag that I keep all of the little bits and scraps in along with the full sheets of 12x12 DSP.

There is a piece of cardboard inside the pack of DSP that has the name and item number printed on it along with a list of the Stampin' Up! colors that coordinate with the paper. I like to punch those colors out and display them in with the paper.

Thank-you for coming back today and checking me out!

Happy Stamping! Karla 😀

Designer 6x6 Paper

Welcome back to another Sunday Fun Day! This week's theme is 6x6 Designer Series Paper. here is my card for today--

This cutting technique came from a post from last year, Debbie forwarded it to me. I love it because it works with 6x6 (4 pieces) or 12x12 (16 pieces) DSP and you can use every inch of your paper!

Thank-you for coming by, see you next week!

Happy Stamping! Karla 😊

Folds for Friday

Welcome to another Fabulous Friday, we are folding today at Sisters in Stamping. Here is my card--

I used a Drapery Fold or sometimes called a Pleated Skirt Fold for this card using the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper (pg.148, #152494, $21.00) I have needed to add more Sympathy cards to my box for awhile, seems like I go through these faster than normal. The stamp set is called Touched My Heart (pg.187, #153497, Hostess Set $12.00). Colored the ribbon and the butterfly using the Gray Granite Stampin' Blends (pg.142, #154886, $9.00).

Here is a link to the technique.

Snowy Thank-you

It's Wintery over at the Sisters in Stamping blog today-- that's the theme for today winter!
Here is my card--

I used the Designer Series Paper in the Holiday Mini Catalog called Let it Snow (pg.20, #150393). There are 2 sheets in the pack that are filled with cute snowmen, I used the largest circle punch to punch out one of those adorable snowmen and layered him on some Flirty Flamingo and Coastal Cabana card stock. A bit of Real Red Curly Ribbon (pg.19, #150426) -- also in the Holiday Mini! The "thanks" comes from a new word set in the main Catalog called Here's A Card (pg.15, #149438). A few snowflakes in the background and done!

Last call for the Stanpin' Up! 2019 Holiday Mini Catalog! Don't forget January 2 is the last day to order from it.

Happy Stamping! Karla 😊

Punch Art Birthday Bee

Well, hello! The Sisters in Stamping are making projects with Punch Art this week. Here is my card--

I used the Petite Pairs stamp set and the Hexagon punch to make this Birthday card, it was just natural to make a little punch art Bee to go with this layout.

Last week-end I attended a crafting class at my church here in Yankton, this is what we made:
Is'nt it the cutest?? Laura K. taught the class and she cut all of the wood pieces out for us ahead of time. We could paint them and decorate them any way we wanted, it was too much fun-- thanks Laura!!! Anyway, all week I kept thinking about the Bee on my flower, and I used him as inspiration for today's card.
Here is a close up picture of my bee (I couldn't resist putting googly eyes on him like the ones on my card).

Thank-you for coming by today...see you next week for some special projects using the Clearance Rack.
Happy Stamping, Karla c(:
