The End is Near!

Hey! It's Sunday Fun Day again, and the Sisters in Stamping are saying so long to the 2022 Mini Catalog, here is my card for today--

I used the stamp set called Catch You Later (pg.63, #158037, $23.00).  I fell in love with this little cat image from the set as soon I saw it! Stamped the image in Stazon ink and used ink pads to color it in (Bermuda Bay, Pumpkin Pie, Soft Sea Foam, Crumb Cake and Soft Suede). Here is a quick link to the catalog, there are a few sets that didn't make it into the New 2022-23 Idea Book & Catalog.

Thank-you for stopping! Happy Stamping, Karla 😊

Birthday Bundle

Hello! It's time for another Fabulous Friday post for the Sisters in Stamping blog... this week we are focusing on the many Bundles in the catalog. What's a Bundle you ask? Well, they are a combination of products that coordinate together offered at a discount-- you've got to love that! Here is my card for today--

Loving this bright color combination-- Gorgeous Grape and the New InColor Magenta Madness!

Here is a picture of the inside .

FANCY PHRASES BUNDLE (EN)
I used the Fancy Phrases Bundle (pg.126, #154090 $40.50). I was instantly drawn to this set! I like the way the 2 fonts compliment each other and the flowers have that French Toile Print look to them don't you think?

Well, that's it for me today and I'm hoping that you will go over to the Sisters post for today and see what they have.

Happy Stamping! Karla 😉

Showing Some Snappy New Stuff

The Sisters in Stamping blog are showing some new stamp sets this week. Here is my card--

This cute little set is called You're Sublime from Stampin' Up!, it's one of the new sets in the 2015-16 Idea Book & Catalog. I used the Watermelon Wonder (2015-17 InColor) to color my crab. The sand is Sahara Sand, and he's picking up Bermuda Bay sequins (I peeled them off of the trim and attached them with glue dots).

Thank-you for stopping by today! Happy stamping and have a snappy day! Karla c(:

Easter Cards for this Week!

It's Rachel's week over at the Sisters in Stamping blog and she has picked Easter Cards as our focus for this week's Fabulous Friday post. Here is my card--

I just love this set! It's called Everybunny and I was SO happy to see it in this year's Idea Book & Catalog (pg.25). I used Regal Rose, Tempting Turquoise, Daffodil Delight and Sahara Sand cardstock to punch my Scallop Squares ( IB&C pg.183, #119884, $16.95). Using the same color ink pads I watercolored my adorable little bunny with blender pens (IB&C pg.178, #102845, $9.95).

Make sure you stop by the Sisters blog to see what the others have for Easter!

Happy Stamping! Karla c(:

Hello! We are in the Occasions section of the NEW 2012-13 Idea Book & Catalog Tour this week at the Sisters in Stamping blog. Here is my card--

I used a new stamp set called For the Birds, it is ADORABLE! It was a must have set and it came in my first order from the new catalog. I also used some more goodies that came in that box ...one of the new folders called Fancy Fan, and some Designer Series Paper called Summer Smooches. The card is so bright and cheery you just hafta smile when you look at it!

Next week is the last week of the Sisters Tour, we will be in the Seasonal Celebrations Section. Hope to see you back here next Friday. Until then go over to the Sisters blog and check out what the other girls have up to show.

Happy Stamping, Karla c(:

Altered Friday Christmas Giving

It's Debbie Naylor's week at the Sisters in Stamping (http://SistersinStamping.blogspot.com) and she has picked gifts to give-- regular things that have been altered in some way, here is my project--

It is a giant clothes pin! I stamped the snowman on shimmery white cardstock, the technique for him is called Out of the Box. I altered the pin with some Designer Series Paper called Just Add Cake.

Here it is clipped together. I made a couple extra to give away this Christmas for the Grandmas. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Friday Frames & Anniversary Blog Candy!

Hey! The Sisters in Stamping (http://SistersinStamping.blogspot.com) have some really cute things to show you this week, so I'm glad you could stop in today to take a look see. Here is my card for this week--

I put some of the new Mica Flakes in the shaker window and topped it off with a window sheet circle. Then I put some Liquid Tombow Glue around the outside edge of the circle and sprinkled the Mica Flakes on the top too. It is very pretty!

I also have some really nice Anniversary Blog Candy to give away--

Here is the deal you need to go over to the Sisters blog (http://SistersinStamping.blogspot.com) and leave a comment to get into the running for this stamp set called Cute by the Inch (one of the most popular hostess sets from last year), matching petal card punch and some Pretty in Pink 5/8" grosgrain ribbon. Good luck, and keep checking back every week in September for more opportunities to win!

Thank-you for stopping by!

Summer Mini Catalog!

I love this time of year, Spring and the Summer Mini catalog are finally here! We are showcasing the Mini this week over at the Sisters (http://sistersinstamping.blogspot.com/), here is my card--

Recently participated in a long distant Swap with my group and this was one of my cards. I used the BigShot to make the ovals from watercolor paper and then stamped with black Stazon ink. Colored the image with Classic ink pads. If you look really close you can see the background stamp I used called Pretty Pattern, it's hard to see because I used the same color ink as the paper...I didn't want it to distract you, but I still wanted a little something going on there. I call it "background noise." The ribbon was kinda tricky and took me waaaaaay longer than I thought it would. I placed sticky strip on the back side of the oval and then ruffled the Pear Pizzaz seam binding around the out side. Over the knot of the bow I used a mini glue dot, a Paper Daisy and a pearl jewel that I colored yellow (so that it looks like the flowers in the vase).

Hope you can join us next week, we are doing some scrapbooking!

Happy Stamping, Karla c(:
