Fun Background Technique

Well hey! The Sisters in Stamping are showing some cards made with a fun background called Cling Wrap Technique. Here is my card for today--

I used the brilliant red and yellow Brusho sprinkled on watercolor paper and then sprayed with starch. Once it was wet and the colors are starting to blend together I placed crumpled up cling wrap over the top and let it dry. That is the tough part waiting for it to dry COMPLETELY. I made a frame Rectangle Stitched Framelits, attached the background to the backside of the frame and set it up off of the card base with some dimensionals.

The flower and the butterfly come from the Sunshine Wishes thinlits. I decorated the butterfly with silver thread and a rhinestone.

Thanks for coming by and we will see you next week!
Happy Stamping, Karla 😉

Monochromatic Friday

Well, the weeks are just flying by and it's already time for the Sisters in Stamping Fabulous Friday post again! Here is my card for this week's Monochromatic Challenge--

The stamp set is called Lovely Lattice, it is one of the 2019 Sale-A-Bration offerings. This card was one of my trades for a Demonstator Swap I participated in back in December. One of the great perks of being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator is being able to preview and order from up coming catalogs.... including all of the Sale-A-Bration sets.

Happy Stamping!

Happy Heart Day!

Valentine's Day.... it's my most favorite holiday! The Sisters in Stamping have decided to show little Valentine treats today. Here is my project--

It is pretty simple and straight forward. The Flamingo card stock is cut to 3 3/4 x 10 and scored at 6 1/2" and 3".
Used my Stamparatus to place the stamp on the front, worked great to get it smack dab in the middle of the heart I made with the Meant to Be framelits.

Come back next week for some monochromatic cards!
Happy stamping, Karla 😉

Glitter All Over

The Sisters in Stamping are showing off some cards made with glitter this week. Here is my card for today's Technique challenge--

It's called a Glitter Window and here is a link to a Tutorial for the Technique. I used a stamp set bundle from the Occasions Catalog called Meant to Be (pg.6, item #150587).

Here is a close-up picture of the window, you can see how glitterey it is! The Dazzling Diamonds Glitter is so fine it filled all of the small holes that the framelits die made.

Thank-you for coming by my blog, see you next week!
Happy Stamping, Karla 😉
