It's a Hot Cocoa Kit, marshmallows, peppermint stir sticks and some Swiss Miss cocoa.

Fun Day Christmas Gifts

Hello and welcome! The Sisters in Stamping are making Christmas Gifts this week for Sunday Fun Day. Here is my project--

I made a tray with Mossy Meadow card stock and stamped it with the new background stamp called Knit Together (#156416, $17.00) in the same color ink to give it a tone on tone look.
The stamp of the little girl pulling the sleigh (isn't she cute!) is from the hostess set, Seasons of Fun (#156576, $12.00). I filled my tray with homemade Sugar Cookie Truffles.

Sugar Cookie Truffles
14 sugar cookies
4T. cream cheese, softened
Place cookies in a gallon ziploc bag and crumble cookies. Add cream cheese and mix together in bag until it comes together in a ball. Use small cookie scoop (about 1T.) scoop dough from bag and form into balls.

3 sq. white almond bark
Melt bark in microwave, 30 seconds at a time, stirring in between each heating. Dip truffles into melted bark and place on parchment paper. Decorate with sprinkles or drizzle with melted chocolate.

I dropped it into a gusseted cellophane bag and tied it up with some Gold Simply Elegant Trim (#155766, $7.50) and a tag made with stamp set Inspired Thoughts (155536, $19.00).

Come back next week for some C.A.S.E ing!

Box it Up!

Welcome! It's Fabulous Friday once again over at the Sisters in Stamping and we are showing some packaging ideas. Here is my idea for today's post--

It's called a triangle box, it's an oldie but a goodie that's been around for years. It may have been the very first box I made when I started stamping 10 years ago!

I used the InColor Pretty Peacock and the matching Scalloped Linen ribbon.
Side view of my triangle box:

The set I used is called Floral Essence, #149450, $17.00.

Click here for a step by step tutorial on how I made my box.

Happy National Hot Chocolate Day!

Today is a perfect day for Hot Chocolate here in South Dakota... it's cold and overcast and it's going to snow any minute now! It's National Hot Chocolate Day and the Sisters in Stamping are celebrating, here is my project for today--

I used the So Sentimental Bundle (pg 20, #153828) from the Occasions Mini catalog to make the tag for the clear envelope. Here is a picture of the back side of the Hot Chocolate Treat--

Six jumbo marshmallows and a Hot Chocolate Stick, I found them at Trader Joe's. As soon as I saw them I knew exactly what I wanted to do!

Thank-you for stopping by today, and make sure to treat yourself with a cup of Hot Chocolate!

Season's Greetings!

Well hey! The Sisters in Stamping are working on gift card holders this week, here is
 my contribution --

They make great last minute Christmas gifts. A picture of it open--

So Many Stars stamp set (#150496, $26.00) from the Holiday Mini Catalog. Seaside Spray Metallic Ribbon (#150446, $7.00) and the Detailed Trio Punch (#146320, $20.00) to round the corners and punch the hole that the ribbon slides through on the front. The thick white card stock works best for this gift card holder, cut to 4 1/2 x 7 and score at 6 1/4" and 3"

Go over to the Sisters blog and check out the other gift card holders!

Halloween Treat

The weeks are just flying by! Halloween is right around the corner and the Sisters in Stamping are showing off some quick treats. Here is my project for today--

I used the cute little coffin shaped paper treat boxes (pg 53, #150451, $7.00/12 boxes) in the Holiday Mini. The little tag comes from the set Tags, Tags, Tags (pg 56, #150508, $21.00) and comes with a matching set of dies to make it quick and easy to make lots of tags fast.

Come back next week for a fun moving card!
Until then, happy stamping!

Little Box of Love

For a second week the focus is retiring sets and product from the 2018-19 Idea Book & Catalog. Here is my project for today's Sisters in Stamping post--

I used the retiring stamp set Inspired Events (pg. 88, #143693, $26.00). I was really disappointed to see this set on the list last month-- you see I had just purchased it!! 😒

The Gable Boxes are retiring (pg. 193, #145568, $8.00/12 boxes), also the Rich Razzelberry Velvet Ribbon (pg. 201, #147016, $8.00/10yds.).

Last day to order these products is June 3, 2019!

This little box of love would be perfect for a Graduate or Bride!
Happy Stamping! Karla 😉

Easy Easter Treat

Hello and welcome to this week's Sisters in Stamping Fabulous Friday post, we are focusing on Easter this week. Here is my project--

I made a template to trace the ears onto a brown paper lunch sack, filled it with Easter candy. Stamped the small rabbit from Best Bunny to make my tag and colored it with Stampin' Blend markers. Best Bunny is one of the newer sets in the 2018-19 Idea Book & Catalog that has it's own matching punch.

Here is a close-up of the tag, you can see that I used the Light Sea Foam Blend marker to rim the rabbit, to trick the eye to thinking that the rabbit is whiter.

Make sure you check out the other Sisters projects for today, they are pretty darn cute!

Magically Delicious!

I'ts Debbie's week over at the Sisters in Stamping blog and her theme is Masculine projects. Here is my project for this week--

I'm sending this off to my son in college who has Finals in a couple months. It could also double as a St. Partick's Day party favor, if you left the "I believe in YOU!" stamp off. That's why I'm showing it to you now. 💚
I used a set from the Occasions Mini Catalog called Amazing Life (pg.28, #148750), You can get a 10% discount if you bundle the stamp set with the Rectangle Stitched Framelits (#150624). I colored the shamrock and the word luck in with the light Granny Smith Stampin' Blend. There is a piece of Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper in Lemon Lime Twist that coordinates perfectly! Lastly, I rimmed the white piece with the Momento Black ink pad so that it pops off of the topper that I stapled on to the gusseted cellophane bag filled with Lucky Charms. What a fun project!

Happy Heart Day!

Valentine's Day.... it's my most favorite holiday! The Sisters in Stamping have decided to show little Valentine treats today. Here is my project--

It is pretty simple and straight forward. The Flamingo card stock is cut to 3 3/4 x 10 and scored at 6 1/2" and 3".
Used my Stamparatus to place the stamp on the front, worked great to get it smack dab in the middle of the heart I made with the Meant to Be framelits.

Come back next week for some monochromatic cards!
Happy stamping, Karla 😉
