Little Bits of Paper
Good day! This week at the Sisters in Stamping blog we are talking paper, little bits of paper to be exact. Here is my project for this week--
I'd say that one of the most asked questions I get from other stampers and crafters is, "how do you store all of those little bits of paper?"
The 2nd file is marked with a file tab of card stock in it and holds full sheets of the same color (pictured on the left). Behind the 2 files there is a full unopened pack of that color (I go through a lot of Real Red, so I have 2 packs).
For the 12x12 Designer Series Paper and other specialty papers I have a fabric storage cube that I store them in. When I get the paper I cut one end open (gently), I keep the cardboard that comes in the pack and put post-it Tab that marks it. Just like above, the first file has the little bits in it.
And the 2nd file has full sheets in it.
Thank-you for coming by today. Happy Stamping, Karla c(:

The Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog
The Fabulous Friday Sisters in Stamping post for today is to pick a card from the 2015-16 Idea Book & Catalog and change it some way. Every once in awhile I try this design exercise to help me get my creative juices flowing again-- a little jump start so to speak.
You can find the card I chose on the bottom of page 18. I liked the colors, Sahara Sand and Old Olive and the ease of the card. Can you see the things I changed? I moved the tied bow to the left of the main image and I used an oval for the main image instead of the circle in the catalog.

I rimmed the oval with the new Archival black ink pad. I used a Sale-A-Bration stamp set called Hello, it is a set of 9 stamps-- the little birthday hat comes in the set!
Make sure you go over to the Sisters blog to see what the others have come up with, and we will see you here next week!
Happy Stamping, Karla c(:
