I know it seems early for Valentines, but if you look at the calendar next week is February-- man, January has flown by! I used a cute little set from the Mini Catalog called Love Cats (#160410, $21.00).

The End is Near!

Hey! It's Sunday Fun Day again, and the Sisters in Stamping are saying so long to the 2022 Mini Catalog, here is my card for today--

 I used the stamp set called Catch You Later (pg.63, #158037, $23.00).  I fell in love with this little cat image from the set as soon I saw it! Stamped the image in Stazon ink and used ink pads to color it in (Bermuda Bay, Pumpkin Pie, Soft Sea Foam, Crumb Cake and Soft Suede). Here is a quick link to the catalog, there are a few sets that didn't make it into the New 2022-23 Idea Book & Catalog.

This stamp set is in the current Mini Catalog, it's called Hey Birthday Chick (pg.52, #154464, $21.00).

You may recognize these 4 chickens, they were a Sale-A-Bration stamp set in 2017 and they are back!  In case you missed them then, they are available again (#158190, $17.00).

Striped Sunday

Hello there Stampers! It's Sunday Fun Day and the Sisters in Stamping are incorporating stripes into their projects. Here is my card--

I used a set called Cute Fruit (#153301, $16.00) and some striped Designer Series Paper from the Mini Catalog called True Love (#154281, $11.50).  I stamped one of the Pineapples inside, the set comes with little smiley faces! Isn't cute!??

Introducing Sunday Fun Day!

 With our busy lives the Sisters in Stamping have decided to discontinue our Fabulous Friday post. Sad I know BUT-- we are starting a new tradition.... Sunday Fun Day!

Happy Birthday!

Hello there and welcome! We are talking Birthdays for the Fabulous Friday post over at the

This CUTE little lion comes from the Occasions Mini Catalog set called Bonanza Buddies (pg.34, #151567). The gingham Designer Series Paper is from a 6x6 stack in the Idea Book & Catalog (pg.168, 149616). Using the Stamparatus to get the stamps to line up makes this card quick and easy!

Baby Hearts

Welcome Back! It's Hearts Week at the Sisters in Stamping and I have a baby card to show you--

I used a new set from the Occasions Mini called Witty-Cisms (pg.37, #151686, $22.00). The hearts are from the set Meant to Be (pg.76, #148626, $24.00) and a little touch of Polka Dot tulle ribbon (pg.175, #146912, $7.50).

Well hello there! The Sisters in Stamping are introducing the newly released 2019 Occasions Mini Catalog. Here is my card--

I used the super cute set called Hey Love (pg. 8, #148644). I colored my little skunk with water color pencils, here is a picture of it before I took the blender pen to it.

You'll notice that I used the Pacific Point pencil around the areas of the skunk I wanted to leave white. It's a optical illusion, just that little bit of blue around the skunk makes the white look whiter.

You want to start blending the blue close to the stamped image line pulling the color away until blender pen runs clear.

Flower Sale-a-Bration Power

It's Debbie's pick this week over at the Sisters in Stamping blog, and she has picked Flowers as our theme. Here is my project--

I used a stamp set from the Occasions Mini Catalog called Southern Serenade, item #145918. The base of my card is one of the cards from the Tutti-Frutti cards & envelopes Sale-a-Bration items you can get free for purchasing $50 of merchandise. The set contains 16 card bases with 16 matching envelopes in some really fun and bright colors-- Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, Lemon Lime Twist and Pool Party.

Bubble Over Bundle

Our assignment for the Sisters in Stamping blog this week is to pick a Bundle from the newly released Stampin' Up! Occasions Mini Catalog. Here is my project--

If you purchase the Bundle (pg. 32, #146082) you get a 10% discount. I used the SAB Designer Series Paper, Bubbles & Fizz (#147244) that matches the stamp set.

I used a new set from the Occasions Mini Catalog, it's called Sealed With Love (#142815, $21.00). The set comes with 3 hearts of the same size that I mounted on the same block so I could stamp them at the same time.

Introducing the New 2016 Occasions Catalog!

Mother's Day Card

Well, we are into May now-- what happened to April?! May means Mother's Day is right around the corner, and the Sisters in Stamping are showing you cards today for Fabulous Friday, because everyone knows handmade cards are the only way to go! Here is my card for today--

Still working out of my retirement box, every year when SU! announces the retirement list I gather all of my stuff and put it all in one box and set it next to my desk. This time I used a stamp set called Springtime Hello out of my box, it's a small set that you may have missed in the Occasions Mini Catalog. I have been wanting to use it for awhile now and a Mother's Day card seemed like the perfect choice. Just so you know this lovely little set did not make the new 2014-15 IB&C. The lace ribbon, the background stamp En Francis and the folder that made the frame around the flowers are retiring too.

Taking a ColourQ

I bet you've been wondering where I've been...I have been under the weather again. But, I'm feeling better! This cute little card would brighten any ones day I think....what do you think?

Sale-A-Bration started last Tuesday and this set, Petal Parade is one of the free sets you can earn by purchasing $50 USD in Stampin' Up! merchandise. The saying comes from the 2013-14 IB&C, it's one of the new sets called Yippee-Skippee (pg.37). And last but not least, that bakers twine adds just the right amount of sparkle with the silver twist in it, it can be found in the 2014 Occasions Mini Catalog (pg.24).
