Winter Wonderland

Hello and welcome to my Fabulous Friday post! I made my Christmas card using Snow Front today for the Sisters in Stamping All About the Birds Challenge, here is a picture--

Have you noticed the set Snow Front (pg 45, #150483, $22.00) in the Holiday Mini? It's in the same artistic style as the set called Waterfront (#146386, $17.00). I used the Stamparatus (pg 184, #146276, $49.00) to position the mountains and the trees. Once I decided my layout it went together really fast and easy and I'll be able to make multiples.

Thank-you for stopping by, come back next week the Sisters are going to be Thankful!

Blooming Birthday

Welcome back! It's Debbie's turn over at the Sisters in Stamping and the theme she picked for this week is Flowers! Here is my card--

The card base is Coastal Cabana stamped with Bermuda Bay flowers. I used the Detailed Bands die (pg.192, #149549, $38.00) to cut the Bermuda Bay foil from the Noble Peacock Foil Sheets (pg.167, #149495, $10.00) the paper pack also includes Blueberry Bushel and Old Olive foil, there are 6, 12x12 sheets in each pack, 2 of each color.

Here is a look at the inside of the card so you can see the whole image of the flower that comes in the set Band Together. It is bundled together with the above die set for a 10% discount (pg. 121, #151076, $54.75).

Go check out the Sisters blog to see what the other girls have done today with their flowers!

Christmas Ribbons

Hello! Our challenge this week at the Sisters in Stamping blog is ribbon, here is my card--

I was cruising around Pinterest last week and spotted this pin. I'm always on the lookout for new ways to use ribbon on cards and I thought this was very clever!

Unlike the ribbon that was used in the pin the Striped Burlap Ribbon (#147889, pg. 13 Holiday Mini Catalog) that I've used on this card needed more than adhesive to stay pleated, hence the gold brad. I pierced a hole through the bow I made with the framelit all the way through the ribbon layers and opened the brad on the back, worked like a charm!

Come back next week to see some fun retro projects the Sisters will be sporting!
Happy Stamping, Karla 😉

Back again after a couple of crazy weeks here at my house! Back, if I don't say so myself with an awesome card. Here's my card--

This picture just doesn't do these new InColors justice, they are truly a delight for the cones and rods in your eyes!! I used some of the new sets that I pre-ordered, Swirly Bird and Layering Love. Most importantly I incorporated all of the 2016-18 InColors.

Dapper Denim, Emerald Envy
Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach, Sweet Sugarplum

The Sisters in Stamping have more cards and projects using the new colors, scoot on over there and take a look.

I {heart} You

Hey there, Happy Valentines Day! The Sisters in Stamping are making Valentines, here is mine--

I found this project and this project and sorta smooshed the two of them together for my Valentine Project today.
Here is a picture of the back.
The Real Red card stock is 3 1/4 x 8 1/2 folded in half. Place the die about a 1/4 inch above the fold and run through the BigShot. Purchased the Googly Eyes at the big box store, they are 15mm.
You'll need to cut off that small tab on the side. Fold on the lines that the die makes. Stamp it up, a bit of ribbon-- tuck in some Conversation Hearts and there you go. Way cute and simple to boot.

Go on over to the Sisters blog to see the other creations!
Happy Stamping, Karla c(:

Fun Back to School Project

Hey! It's back to School time at my house and I found this really cute project to make at my last Find A Friend Class (see below for a link to the original post). We had such a great time making these Jumbo Pencils!

Here is the fun part-- when you pull on the ribbon with the tag a chocolate bar pops up from inside the pencil!
Here is a link to Heather's post. I had to tweak my pencil a bit because my candy bar was bigger than hers, but I still think it turned out super cute. Here are the dimensions for cutting your card stock:
Daffodil Delight- 6 1/2 x 5 1/2
Blush Blossom- 2 x 6 3/4
Silver Foil- 1/2 x 7

Thank-you for stopping by today! Have a Fabulous Friday... Karla c(:
