Hello! Our challenge this week at the Sisters in Stamping
blog is ribbon, here is my card--
I was cruising around Pinterest last week and spotted
this pin. I'm always on the lookout for new ways to use ribbon on cards and I thought this was very clever!
Unlike the ribbon that was used in the pin the Striped Burlap Ribbon (#147889, pg. 13 Holiday Mini Catalog) that I've used on this card needed more than adhesive to stay pleated, hence the gold brad. I pierced a hole through the bow I made with the framelit all the way through the ribbon layers and opened the brad on the back, worked like a charm!
