Sit, Stay, Relax

Hello there stamper! Were you starting to think that the Sisters in Stamping had forgotten about this week's post? We are posting today!! And, we are talking about vellum today. Here's my card--

I used the Hostess Stamp Set called Sit, Stay, Relax (#159152, $13.00). This super cute stamp set (pictured below) is available for purchase at a discount for Hostess.

I took a closer picture of my Vellum, I embossed Stitched Greenery die (#155451, $32.00) and then colored the back side with a Balmy Blue Stampin' Blends marker. I also used a Stampin' Blends marker in Petal Pink to color the ribbon.

Thank-you for coming by today! Next week we are doing some congratulating.

Happy Stamping, Karla 😀

Accessorizing!

Well hello and welcome to another Sunday Fun Day, this week's Sisters in Stamping is all about Accessorizing! Here is my card--

Isn't it pretty! I can't keep my hands off those new Iridescent Rhinestones (#158130, $7.50/200) I love the AB sheen on them! It's that rainbow effect of an oil sheen on water. (AB stands for Aurora Borealis or Northern Lights) I really like the layered look of this card. Here is what the full stamp set looks like:

Forever Fern (#152559, $24.00)

But the stars of this card are the coordinating Forever Flourishing dies (#152714, $36.00). I used the large fern die to create my own mask for the embossing paste.

Thank-you for coming by!

Blog Candy Winners & Vellum

Welcome! Vellum is the topic today for Sunday Fun Day, here is my card--

I stamped my snowman on vellum and colored on the back side. After the ink had dried I used a stylus and a foam pad and burnished the vellum around the bottom of snowman and along the sides of the snow ball. The Sisters have gone through all of the comments from last week and picked 3 winners for our Blog Candy Giveaway, go over and check it out!

Happy Stamping!

It's All About the Blending

The name of the stamp set that I used today is called Tasteful Touches (pg.124, #152562). This set coordinates with Tasteful Labels Die (pg.179, 152886) and all 3 pieces on the front are cut with these dies. If you want both the dies and the set make sure you Bundle them with the Tasteful Touches Bundle (pg.124, 154098) and get 10% off.

I stamped the flower with Gorgeous Grape and then used the Highland Heather Stampin' Blends to color it in. I also used the Blends to color my rhinestones.

Thank-you for coming by today and make sure you go check out the Sisters in Stamping blog post for today to see what the others showing!

Punch Art Birthday Bee

Well, hello! The Sisters in Stamping are making projects with Punch Art this week. Here is my card--

I used the Petite Pairs stamp set and the Hexagon punch to make this Birthday card, it was just natural to make a little punch art Bee to go with this layout.

Last week-end I attended a crafting class at my church here in Yankton, this is what we made:
Is'nt it the cutest?? Laura K. taught the class and she cut all of the wood pieces out for us ahead of time. We could paint them and decorate them any way we wanted, it was too much fun-- thanks Laura!!! Anyway, all week I kept thinking about the Bee on my flower, and I used him as inspiration for today's card.
Here is a close up picture of my bee (I couldn't resist putting googly eyes on him like the ones on my card).

Thank-you for coming by today...see you next week for some special projects using the Clearance Rack.
Happy Stamping, Karla c(:
