CASEing for Sunday

The Sisters in Stamping are CASEing (stands for Copy And Stamp Everthing) cards this week from the Holiday Mini. Here is my card--

I copied the card on page 63 of the Mini Catalog, I changed it up a little-- turned it into a Birthday card and used Party Puffins (#155054, $22.00).

Fun Day Christmas Gifts

Hello and welcome! The Sisters in Stamping are making Christmas Gifts this week for Sunday Fun Day. Here is my project--

I made a tray with Mossy Meadow card stock and stamped it with the new background stamp called Knit Together (#156416, $17.00) in the same color ink to give it a tone on tone look.

The stamp of the little girl pulling the sleigh (isn't she cute!) is from the hostess set, Seasons of Fun (#156576, $12.00). I filled my tray with homemade Sugar Cookie Truffles.

Sugar Cookie Truffles

14 sugar cookies

4T. cream cheese, softened

Place cookies in a gallon ziploc bag and crumble cookies. Add cream cheese and mix together in bag until it comes together in a ball. Use small cookie scoop (about 1T.) scoop dough from bag and form into balls. 

3 sq. white almond bark

Melt bark in microwave, 30 seconds at a time, stirring in between each heating. Dip truffles into melted bark and place on parchment paper. Decorate with sprinkles or drizzle with melted chocolate.

 

I dropped it into a gusseted cellophane bag and tied it up with some Gold Simply Elegant Trim (#155766, $7.50) and a tag made with stamp set Inspired Thoughts (155536, $19.00).

Blog Candy Winners & Vellum

 Welcome! Vellum is the topic today for Sunday Fun Day, here is my card--

I stamped my snowman on vellum and colored on the back side. After the ink had dried I used a stylus and a foam pad and burnished the vellum around the bottom of snowman and along the sides of the snow ball. The Sisters have gone through all of the comments from last week and picked 3 winners for our Blog Candy Giveaway, go over and check it out!

Fall Funday

 Fall is in the air and I'm lovin' it! After such a HOT & miserable Summer it is SO nice to have some cooler weather--- and I really love the leaves changing. Here is my card for today--

As soon as I saw this set I knew I had to have it! You may recognize it from the 2020 Holiday Mini, it's called Enjoy the Moment (#154452$23.00). It makes the perfect Fall card.

Did you Know it's Sale-A-Bration?

That's right! It's a little bit early this year. The Sisters are showing some of the free sets that you order. Here is my card for today's Sunday Fun Day post-- 

The set I used for my card is called Counting Sheep, #156591 (free with $50 purchase), I also used a free set of dies #156600 (also free with $50 purchase).

 There is a bow behind one of the sheep, I made it with a new ribbon from the Holiday Mini catalog. It has a little sparkle in it-- can you see it?? It really makes it pop in real life.

Designer 6x6 Paper

Welcome back to another Sunday Fun Day! This week's theme is 6x6 Designer Series Paper. here is my card for today--

This cutting technique came from a post from last year, Debbie forwarded it to me. I love it because it works with 6x6 (4 pieces) or 12x12 (16 pieces) DSP and you can use every inch of your paper!

A Bling-y Card

 

Color Combo Sunday

 Hello and welcome! The Sisters in Stamping are playing with colors this week: Rococo Rose, Sahara Sand and Merry Merlot. Here is my project for today's post--

I love the sparkly look of this wedding card! I layered the Rococo Rose card stock pennant with the metallic mesh ribbon (#153550, $8.00) and blinged up the image with some rhinestones. Some retiring things in this card, the set, the Rococo Rose cardstock and ink.

You may recognize these 4 chickens, they were a Sale-A-Bration stamp set in 2017 and they are back!  In case you missed them then, they are available again (#158190, $17.00).

Copy It!

 Hello there! It's another Sunday Fun Day over at Sisters in Stamping this week we are C.A.S.E.ing. Here is my card--

C.A.S.E. stands for Copy And Stamp Everything. I used my 6x6 DSP pack of InColors and the soon to be retiring stamp set Under My Umbrella (#151518, $16.00). Here is a picture of the card I copied from the 2020-21 Idea Book & Catalog, pg.105.

The set Under my Umbrella is really cute, and it has a matching punch that's on sale (#151293, $7.20).

Striped Sunday

Hello there Stampers! It's Sunday Fun Day and the Sisters in Stamping are incorporating stripes into their projects. Here is my card--

I used a set called Cute Fruit (#153301, $16.00) and some striped Designer Series Paper from the Mini Catalog called True Love (#154281, $11.50).  I stamped one of the Pineapples inside, the set comes with little smiley faces! Isn't cute!??

 Have you ever thought "Oh, I did that" and in real life it never got done? That's what happened to me yesterday, I got home from work... and for some reason I thought that I had published this post- but it never happened! Well, here it is a little late! Good Sunday Fun Day! I have a confession... I didn't make this WAYYYY cute basket filled with Kisses! Yes, it's true. It was made by my little honey for me!!

Sale-A-Bration Donkeys

 Sale-A-Bration started last month and there is a month to go! The Sisters in Stamping are highlighting the sale this week with cards and projects. Here is my card--

The set is called Darling Donkeys, and I have to say they are pretty cute! I colored them in with Stampin' Blenders (Crumb Cake, Soft Suede and Poppy Parade). I cut the saying and the Donkeys out with die set Stitched Rectangles (pg.183, #151820, $35.00). Who would've thought that Donkeys could be so adorable... and, to make it even sweeter this set is free with a $50 purchase!
