Thank-you Fabulous Friday
I used the big snowflake die for the BigShot to cut the white snowflake out. I used the 2-way glue pen and dazzling diamonds glitter, it is very glittery!! The rabbit is colored in with markers and I used those cute library clips with some of the new 1/8" ribbon. The card turned out really nice!

October 15- Fabulous Friday
Hello-
This card was a Make & Take at the last Quarterly Meeting in September. The helper, Therese Donajkowski, said she CASED it from somewhere but does not know where....if this is your card, leave me a note and I'll post your name with credit.
See you next week, we are doing some stampin' things with cork! Karla c(:
BigShot Fabulous Friday Candy Wrapper Die
We did this cute project a couple of weeks ago at the Quarterly Janesville Meeting. Kathleen D. was the Make & Take Helper that designed this project, here is a link to her web page (http://www.stampwithkathleen.stampinup.net/) Thanks Kathleen for letting me borrow your project this week!
Thank-you for stopping by, Karla c(:
Wheels for Fabulous Friday
I used the Jumbo Wheel from the new Holiday Mini called Jolly Jingles to make my own designer paper. My Stampin' Up! Downline Group had a Shoebox Trade using sets from the Holiday Mini and this was one of my cards.
Next week we have a "sweet" surprise for you! Make sure you come back!

Fabulous Folder Friday
This card was a trade from Karen Clark, a fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrator--and one of my Downline. When I contacted Karen about using this card for today's post (because it is so beautiful!) she said it was a CASE, and she couldn't remember where it came from.....so, if this is your card leave a comment and I will give you credit for this awesome creation.
Hope you can make it back next week, Karla c(:

Retiring Accessories!
I used the Pretties Kit again this week...I guess it's because I'm so sad to see it go. Be prepared, you might see it next week too!!! Last week I pulled all of the retiring ribbon so I could focus on it at Workshops and Clubs in the next couple of weeks and I was shocked on how many colors are leaving!! BOOHOO. So I've tried to make the best of it and use it for a technique I have been wanting to try for a long time. I received a trade card from one of my awesome Downline, Stacey Campbell, and have wanted to weave some ribbon ever since. Thank-you for the great trade Stacey!
SU! supplies--
Stamp sets: Stem Sayings (retiring June 30, 2010). Accessories: Pretties Kit, Striped grosgrain ribbon, mini glue dots, Basic Black marker. Paper: Whisper White, Bashful Blue.
There are other awesome projects over at the Sisters in Stamping blog (http://SistersinStampin.blogspot.com) make sure you check it out. Until next week, happy stamping!

June Friday Brides
It's a gift card holder, here is a picture of the inside--
You take a 1/2 sheet of card stock, cut the long way (4 1/4 x 11) and score it 3" from both ends and then fold it in 1/2...it looks like a "w." Here is a picture of it from the top--
I ran a piece of scrap white card stock though the BigShot using the Tulipe die. Embellished it using the Pretties Kit and some Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz.
SU! Supplies used--
Accessories: Pretties Kit, BigShot, Tulipe die, sticky strip, mini glue dots, tombow adhesive, Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz, 1" circle punch, Modern window punch. Paper: Very Vanilla, Whisper White.
Both the Tulipe die and the Pretties Kit are retiring at the end of June--boo hooo! I will miss them both. Happy Stamping-- Karla c(:

Fabulous Masculine Friday
I have been wanting to try this technique for a looooonnnng time....it's called Bargello and it's super easy to do and not just for needle arts. I used the new Designer Series Paper from the Summer Mini called Travel Journal (pg.23, Summer Mini catalog) but you can use any paper that has stripes. A technique article in the last Stampin' Success (a monthly Magazine for Demonstrators) featured it, just one of the many perks of being a SU! Demonstrator. I cut the paper in 1/2" strips off of each side to make the wave and then matched up the stripe when I adhered it to the card stock. Looks kinda like a tie don't cha think??? This stamp set Very Thankful is the Ronald McDonald set for the 2009-10 IB&C and will be retiring at the end of the month. To see all of the sets that are leaving click on the Stampin' Up! button on the left and check under promotions.
SU! Supplies used--
Stamp sets: Very Thankful (pg. 209, IB&C 2009-10). Accessories: Pumpkin Striped ribbon, Dimensionals, wide oval punch, aqua painter, markers; Pumpkin Pie, Bashful Blue, Blush Blossom, Regal Rose, Night of Navy. Paper: Travel Journal Designer Series Paper, Bashful Blue, Night of Navy. Ink: Basic Black.
Thank-you for stopping by! Happy Stamping, Karla c(:

Simply Scrappin' Friday
It's called a Diagonal Double Fold Card. I used one of the sheets of Designer Series Paper that comes in the kit to make the pockets. I have a good friend, who teaches and she likes to read lots of books during her Summer vacation. I think I'll tuck a gift card for a bookstore into one of the pockets before I give it to her. Here is what it looks like inside...I used some of the elements to dress it up.
I took a picture of it with the bookmarks pulled out so you could get a good look at it--
SU! Supplies used--
Accessories: Pumpkin Pie 1/4" ribbon, silver brads, mat pack, dimensionals, mini glue dots, Petal Party Simply Scrappin' Kit. Paper: Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White.
See you next week....have a safe Memorial Day week-end!
Happy Stampin' Karla c(:

Flowery Fabulous Friday
It is a pin that I made with the Real Red 1" double stitched ribbon and the Summer Sun corduroy buttons. Beth France taught us how to make these in Janesville at the last Quarterly Meeting. I made a card to put it on here is a picture of the pin off of the card and the back of the pin--
It was super easy! I stitched long running stitch along the edge of 14" of ribbon and then gathered it up to make a circle. Put the brad in the center and filled the hole with a medium sized blob of hot glue. I cut the felt circle with the BigShot and attached the pin back with hot glue. That's it! I'll be putting it in a clear envelope (so you can see how pretty it is) and giving it to a good friend of mine.
SU! Supplies used--
Stamp Sets: Petal Pizzazz (pg.113, IB&C 2009-10), Teeny Tiny Wishes (pg.145, IB&C 2009-10). Accessories: BigShot, Circles #2 die, Modern Label punch, Crop-a-dile, Summer Sun corduroy buttons, Real Red 1" double stitched ribbon. Paper: Summer Sun, Old Olive, Whisper White. Ink: Summer Sun, Real Red, Old Olive.
See you next week....make sure you hop on over to the Sisters blog (http://SistersinStamping.blogspot.com) to see what the other girls are up to!

I learned how to make that cute flower from Beth France at the Quarterly Janesville Meeting May 1st. Using the scallop circle punch, punch 6 circles from Designer Series Paper. Spray them with water and scrunch them up into little balls. Unfold them and layer them using Tombow Adhesive. That's it! Thank-you Beth for the demo you did in Janesville.

First Sketch Challenge
Where oh where is Anna???
Sweet Fab Friday!
I purchased an extra Final Press BigShot folder and took my craft and rubber scissors to it. Here is a picture of it--
You'll want to use a Sharpie Marker on it so that you cut it up in the right places. The original idea came from the uber talented Andrea Walford (http://andreawalford.com/).
I have another post for today.....see you later! Karla c(:

Awash with Flowers on Friday
I used one of the flowers in the set on it's side for the butterfly-- using the black marker to make the antenna and body of the butterfly. I'm putting together a demonstration on BigShot folders for the Quarterly Janesville Meeting on May 1st. This will be one of the cards I'll show at the Meeting--just another great perk of being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. If you live in the area conntact me for more info. The design in the white cardstock was made by using a small frame with an oval cut from it, here is a picture of what it looks like--
I found them in the wedding section of my local craft store. You layer the frame under the folder before you send it thru the BigShot. Supplies used--
Stamp sets: Awash with Flowers, Full of Life. Accessories: Almost Amethyst marker, Basic Black marker, Stamp-a-ma-jig, organza ribbon, BigShot, Finial Press folder. Paper: Whisper White, Almost Amethyst. Ink: Basic Black, Almost Amethyst.
See you next time, until then happy stamping! Karla c(:

Fabulous BigShot for Friday
It's a box with a cute little belly band with flower attached. The flower was made with the die Flower Folds #115970. I used one of the pink corduroy buttons from the Occasions Mini catalog (only a couple more weeks for that catalog left). I opened up the box to take a picture:
Here is what's inside--there is a bath fizzy and I used the Flower Folds die to cut compressed sponge. I ordered it from the Internet (e-mail me and I'll give you the web site).
SU! Supplies used--
Stamp sets: With All My Heart (pg.12, Occasions Mini Catalog). Accessories: Pretty in Pink corduroy buttons, BigShot, Flower Folds die, Bermuda Bay marker, Melon Mambo marker, mat pack, paper piercing tool. Paper: Whisper White, Barely Banana, Bermuda Bay, Certainly Celery. Ink: Bermuda Bay
This was one of the projects we taught at the BigShot Class. We will be repeating this class in Janesville, if you are interested in attending e-mail me and I'll send you the information. See you next week, Karla c(:
